Job summary

J Rose Enterprises in Atlanta, GA is hiring a truck driver for pneumatic/dry bulk operations in the Southeast. You will operate pneumatic trailer, perform loading/unloading monitoring, and maintain safety. Paid orientation provides training even if pneumatic experience is new.

Home time is 4–5 nights per week, with out trips 2–3 nights away. The role includes a full W2 benefits package and a competitive pay structure based on mileage and earned per diems, with opportunities for a safety bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 years of age.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum 18 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• No Tanker or Hazmat endorsements required; pneumatic training provided in orientation.
• Must pass physical and agility test during orientation.
• Must reside in Atlanta/Marietta or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Touch freight: driver-monitored unloading; equipment handles heavy lifting.

Pay & Earnings

• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,200 – $1,600 per week
• Effective Pay Rate: Fleet average is ~$0.81 per mile (\"all-in basis\")
• Pay Components:
  • Mileage Pay: Calculated using tons hauled, loaded miles, and pay factor
  • Load & Unload Pay: Paid for handling loading and monitor processes
  • Per Diem: Included to maximize tax advantages
  • Safety Bonus: Additional earnings opportunities
  • Note: Load pay varies based on tonnage and distance hauled.

Job Details & Home Time

• Home Time: Home 4–5 nights per week (Out only 2–3 nights per week)

• Equipment & Cargo: Pneumatic trailer / Dry bulk
• Touch Freight: Driver-monitored unloading; equipment handles heavy lifting (drivers set up and monitor process)
• Paid Training: No previous pneumatic experience required—complete paid training provided in orientation
