Job summary

J Rose Logistics is seeking a CDL-A truck driver for pneumatic trailer and dry bulk runs in the Southeast region. Average weekly earnings range from $1,200 to $1,600, with home time of 4–5 nights per week and paid orientation.

Operate pneumatic equipment and participate in driver-monitored unloading. Enjoy a full W2 benefits package and reside in Birmingham, AL or nearby for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A)
• Minimum 18 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• No tanker or hazmat endorsements required
• Must pass physical and agility test during orientation
• Must reside in Birmingham, AL or surrounding areas

• Driver-monitored unloading; equipment handles heavy lifting
• Touch Freight: driver monitors unloading process
• Operate pneumatic trailer/dry bulk equipment
• Set up and monitor loading/unloading operations
• Paid orientation/training provided

Pay & Earnings

• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,200 – $1,600 per week


• Effective Pay Rate: Fleet average is ~$0.81 per mile ("all-in basis")

  • Mileage Pay: Calculated using tons hauled, loaded miles, and pay factor
  
  
  • Load & Unload Pay: Paid for handling loading and monitor processes
  
  
  • Per Diem: Included to maximize tax advantages

  • Note: Load pay varies based on tonnage and distance hauled.
  
  
  
  

Job Details & Home Time

• Home Time: Home 4–5 nights per week (Out only 2–3 nights per week)


• Operating Area: Southeast region


• Equipment & Cargo: Pneumatic trailer / Dry bulk


• Touch Freight: Driver-monitored unloading; equipment handles heavy lifting (drivers set up and monitor process)


• Paid Training: No previous pneumatic experience required—complete paid training provided in orientation
