Job summary

4th Day Trucking is seeking drivers for a semi-local lane in the western region. Pay is $87,000.00 per year with an average of 2,420 miles weekly, and work runs Sunday through Friday with early start times between 5:00 and 10:00.

This lane is sometimes regional and requires willingness to run it when needed. The job is physically demanding, with backing into tight docks and the need to chain up in bad weather.

Qualifications

• Must have personal transportation and pass a drug test.
• 21 years old minimum, valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
• Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations in 3 years.
• Drug-free status required; SAP candidates are NOT accepted.
• Paid orientation - upon completion and hired.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Sunday to Friday. Start times 05:00–10:00.
• Lane runs through CO, KS, NE, ND, MT, MO, NM, CA, WY, UT; 2,420 miles per week.
• Lane will be local 40% of the time, with possible regional runs.
• Physically demanding lane requiring blind-side backing in tight docks.
• Must be able to chain up for weather conditions.

This lane will be local 40% of the time, but there are moments when it goes regional and the hired drivers MUST be willing to run it

This lane is physically demanding

Drivers must be able to blind side backing into tight retail dock locations and maneuver in closed location areas

Drivers MUST be willing and able to chain as weather dictates
