Job summary

Small Potato Trucking seeks a CDL-A driver for a semi-local lane with strong earnings and reliability. You will operate a Class A tractor, follow a Sunday–Friday schedule, and maintain safety and compliance as you run a demanding regional route.

The position covers roughly 2,420 miles per week across CO, KS, NE, ND, MT, MO, NM, CA, WY and UT, with start times between 05:00 and 10:00. The lane is 40% local and may become regional; chaining and tight-dock maneuvering are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card.
• Verifiable driving experience with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Drive the semi-local lane across multiple states.
• Perform blind-side backing into tight retail docks.
• Chain up as weather dictates.
• Maintain a Sunday–Friday work week with 05:00–10:00 start times.

This lane will be local 40% of the time, but there are moments when it goes regional and the hired drivers MUST be willing to run it

This lane is physically demanding

Drivers must be able to blind side backing into tight retail dock locations and maneuver in closed location areas

Drivers MUST be willing and able to chain as weather dictates

Qualifications:

Must have personal transportation and pass a drug test

21 years old minimum, valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.

Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record

Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations within the last 3 years, this will be checked

Drug-free status required, SAP candidates are NOT accepted
