Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a regional driver based in Neosho, MO to transport Animal Nutrition products across a defined region. You’ll operate nights and weekends with overnight stays, home on weekends, and contribute to a safety-first culture within the transportation team.

The role requires a Class A CDL with airbrakes, HazMat and Tanker endorsements, and 1+ years of commercial driving experience. Proficiency in basic math and computer use is expected alongside reliable communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Possesses valid driver’s license including Class A CDL with Airbrakes, HazMat endorsement (or ability to attain within 60 days).
• Tanker endorsement and additional endorsements may be required.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.
• Must be able to be out from home a minimum of two nights weekly.

Pay: $67,000 Annual Salary Rate, paid bi-weekly

Shift: This role is a regional driving position. Role requires over-night stays for routes - home on weekends.

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc., transportation team who transports Animal Nutrition products to customers and other locations. You will operate within an assigned regional area. Trucks will be in Neosho MO.

This role is part of our Nutra Blend business who is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamins, trace mineral, micro-ingredients, and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry.

Required Experience And Skills

• Must be 21 years or older
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience
• Possesses valid driver’s license including:
  • Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Airbrakes
  • HAZ-MAT Endorsement (or ability to attain within 60 days of hire - company reimburse available).
  • Tanker Endorsement
  • Additional endorsements may also be required
• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
• Able to learn and complete safety and compliance guidance training.
• Must be able to be out from home a minimum of two nights weekly.

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience
• Forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 60lbs
• Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for an aggregate period of up to 11 hours
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, squatting, crouching, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Must be capable to frequently carrying of freight of varying size and shape.
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust and chemicals are present
• Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays
