Salt City Trucking in the Northeast is seeking a CDL-A Semi-Local Retail Driver to haul no-touch retail freight to stores. The position offers a $5,000 bonus, consistent start times, and the opportunity to get home several times during the workweek with a 34-hour reset.

Average pay is about $105,000 per year, with weekly earnings around $2,150 and routes that include New Jersey and surrounding states. The job operates 24/7 with rotating schedules and fixed shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 3 months verifiable experience.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record and no SAP drivers.
• Ability to meet strict on-time service expectations.
• Flexible to support intermodal, dedicated, and third-party freight.
• Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
• Passengers and pets are not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Haul general retail freight to stores using drop-and-hook and live-unload operations.
• Pick up loaded trailers from customer distribution centers.
• Deliver to retail stores, including two Long Island locations outside New York City.
• Complete third-party backhaul pickups in New England, New York, and New Jersey as needed.
• Freight may include drop-and-hook, live unload, and live-load operations.
• Maintain on-time pickups, transit, and deliveries.
• Support intermodal operations, other dedicated accounts, and third-party loads when freight volume is low.
