Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Semi-Local Dedicated Retail Driver for a home-weekly schedule on a dedicated account in New Jersey. Expect mostly drop-and-hook work, no-touch freight, and reliable, consistent routes with occasional backhauls.

Average pay is about $105,000 per year, plus a $5,000 bonus. Route features include 2 Long Island locations, starts around 10 AM–2 PM, and a 34-hour weekly reset with 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Flexibility to support other operations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Haul general freight to retail stores.
• No-touch freight.
• Pick up loaded trailers via drop & hook from distribution centers.
• Deliver to retail stores, including 2 Long Island locations.
• No NYC deliveries.
• Mix of drop & hook and live unloads at delivery locations.
• Live load/unload at third-party backhaul locations.
• Backhauls may include New England, New York, and New Jersey.
• Account operates 24/7.
• Usually start and end the day at the East Brunswick yard.
