CDL-A Semi-Local Dedicated Retail Driver – Good Pay + Bonus | Home Weekly

Earn $105,000 per year on a dedicated semi-local retail account with home weekly, set work days, and the opportunity to get through the house 2-3 times during your shift. Enjoy no-touch freight, mostly drop-and-hook operations, and consistent routes outside NYC.

Pay Details

Average Weekly Pay: $2,100

• $5,000 Bonus
• 2,350 miles/week

Job Details

• Haul general freight to retail stores
• No-touch freight
• Pick up loaded trailers via drop & hook from distribution centers
• Deliver to retail stores, including 2 Long Island locations
• No NYC deliveries
• Mix of drop & hook and live unloads at delivery locations
• Live load/unload at third-party backhaul locations
• Backhauls may include New England, New York, and New Jersey
• Support intermodal, other dedicated accounts, or third-party loads when volume is low
• Account operates 24/7
• On-time pickup, transit, and delivery are critical
• Usually start and end the day at the East Brunswick yard

Shift Details

• Thursday-Monday
• Start between 10 AM-2 PM
• Home weekly
• Typically get through the house 2-3 days during the shift
• 34-hour weekly reset
• Routes may vary during peak season (October-January)
• Rotating 6th day during Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas periods
• Holiday time off is not guaranteed

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Clean driving record
• DOT Medical Card
• No SAP Drivers
• Must provide transportation to and from work
• Flexibility to support other operations when needed

Equipment & Training

• Assigned automatic trucks
• May be required to slip seat when units are down
• Trucks remain at the yard/account
• Onboarding begins at 10 AM and lasts approximately half a day
• 8 days of Account Specific Training
• Local training during AST
• Personal vehicle required for travel during training
