Central States is seeking a Semi-Local CDL-A Driver in Tooele, UT. You will haul metal roofing and siding on flatbed curtain side trailers across UT, CO, CA, ID, WY, OR, MT, and AZ. Assigned automatic sleeper trucks remain at the account for home time, with weekly 34‑hour resets.

Compensation includes an average weekly pay of $1,673 and an average annual pay of $87,000+, with a CPM range of $0.59–$0.63. Start times are mornings, Monday–Saturday, with layovers and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3+ months of experience.
• Must meet DOT hiring criteria.
• Proficient with curtain side trailers.
• Willing to chain in winter conditions.
• Comfortable with mountain routes.
• Flatbed experience preferred.
• Must assist other accounts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Haul metal roofing and siding on flatbed curtain side trailers across UT, CO, CA, ID, WY, OR, MT and AZ.
• Operate curtain side system and secure loads; use occasional Moffett forklift if needed.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT regulations.
• Travel with assigned sleepers; home time weekly with 34‑hour reset.

Position Overview

Semi‑Local CDL‑A position hauling metal roofing and siding on flatbed curtain side trailers across UT, CO, CA, ID, WY, OR, MT, and AZ. Assigned automatic sleeper trucks (Peterbilt, Freightliner, International) remain at the account for home time.

Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,673
• Average Annual Pay: $87,000+
• CPM Range: $0.59–$0.63
• Annual CPM Increases: +$0.01 until max
• Miles/Week:~2,350
• Average Stops/Week: 4
• Paid Holidays: 6

Schedule & Home Time
