Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking Class A CDL drivers for semi-local appliance runs from Manteno, IL, traveling across IL, IA, and MI. Earn a $10,000 bonus plan with frequent home time and employment benefits. Assigned modern tractors for time-sensitive, no-touch freight, with weekends and holiday pay opportunities.

Evening start times and 50–55 hour work weeks are common. Detention pay, safety bonuses, and a full benefits package are provided after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and at least 3 months of verifiable CDL experience.
• Clean driving record and DOT Medical card.
• Comfortable with time-sensitive deliveries.
• No SAP drivers in the fleet.

Responsibilities

• Deliver appliances to cross docks across the Midwest with no-touch freight.
• Maintain time-sensitive, service-critical deliveries and routes.
• Frequent home time with regular weekly schedule.

Pre-loaded trailers, no-touch freight, and a truck that is all yours. Class A CDL drivers are needed in Manteno, Illinois, for semi-local appliance runs to Midwest cross docks across Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan. Earn activity-based pay with a $10,000 bonus plan and enjoy frequent home time.

Pay & Bonuses

Schedule & Home Time

Frequent home time, with 1–2 nights out in the truck per week

Sunday–Thursday, with an occasional 6th day to cover absences or peak season

Evening start times between 7 PM and 10 PM, set by the customer’s schedule 10–11 hour workdays, about 50–55 hours per week Off on
