Job summary

Lynch Family Companies is seeking an experienced CDL driver to safely transport hogs intrastate and interstate while adhering to DOT regulations. The role involves coordinating with the Transportation Manager, maintaining logs, and ensuring timely deliveries with professional upkeep of equipment.

The position requires a valid CDL with a clean driving record, willingness to work overtime and holidays, and compliance with health, safety, and insurance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Maintain daily logs and mileage per DOT regulations.
• Valid CDL license with good driving record.
• Meet company insurance guidelines and pass DOT physicals and required drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Transport livestock intrastate and interstate safely and on time.
• Coordinate with Transportation Manager on schedules and deliveries.
• Maintain clean transportation equipment and professional appearance.

Safely transport hogs on time via intrastate and interstate while abiding by DOT regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Able to work holidays as needed
• Capable to transport livestock via intrastate andinterstate
• Works with Transportation Manager onschedules
• On TimeDelivery
• Performs other duties as needed and/orassigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fill out and maintain proper daily log and mileage sheets per DOT regulations
• Valid CDL license with good driving record
• Meet and maintain company insurance guidelines
• Successfully pass renewal of DOT physical and required drug testing {random, post accident)
• Maintain certification and follow all TQA Guidelines in the Humane Handling of Livestock
• Maintain clean transportation equipment and personal appearance
• Work well with livestock buyers and plant personnel
