Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an MRI Transport Associate to move mobile scanning units between Park Rapids, Princeton and other locations, assist technologists with patient throughput, and ensure equipment is maintained and clean. The role requires a Class A CDL and prior semi-truck driving experience.

You will transport patients to scanner locations, help with patient positioning, and uphold confidentiality while providing courteous service in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years driving experience with semi-truck/18 wheeler.
• Class A Drivers License CDL Minnesota driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Transport mobile scanning equipment between locations.
• Maintain tractor/trailer and keep equipment clean.
• Coordinate and communicate repair needs in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient transport to the scanner and patient positioning on MRI.
• Practice confidentiality and respectful service to diverse patients and staff.

Job Overview

Transports mobile scanning unit between scheduled locations and assists technologists in patient throughput as requested. This position would fill in as needed for routes that go to Park Rapids, Wheaton, Elbow Lake, Princeton, Crosby, Sauk Centre, and Onamia.

Responsibilities

• Transports mobile scanning equipment between locations


• Maintains tractor/trailer


• Keeps equipment clean and in working order


• Communicates and schedules any repair needs in a timely manner


• Transports patients to scanner location and assists with patient placement on scanner for MRI


• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served
