Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. seeks a Semi Driver for local, on-site work in Texas. Pay starts at $30+ per hour with weekly pay, typical hours Monday–Friday and occasional on-call.

Benefits include uniforms, safety glasses, and strong safety standards. Two weeks of vacation in year one, holidays, and a 401(k) with company match after 90 days. Qualifications include an unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and a DOT Medical Card, plus at least 2 years of semi experience.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating semi/trailer equipment.
• Must be able to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
• Customer-oriented with ability to instruct customers on safe operation and complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi tractor-trailer for local routes.
• Load, secure, and inspect equipment before/during trips.
• Instruct customers on safe operation of equipment and ensure satisfaction.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.

Hiring Immediately; Pay Dependent on Experience, typical range starting $30+ per hour; PAID WEEKLY!

Typical Schedule : Monday - Friday with the occasional rotating on call schedule

Typical Shift: 7AM - 5PM (Overtime eligible)

Position Requirements

• You must have an unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a semi is required, as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Must possess physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders
• You are customer-oriented, you will instruct customers on the safe & proper operation of the equipment, complete paperwork, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• You are a team-player maintaining communication with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Are you bilingual in Spanish? That’s a plus!
• Safety oriented, you make safety a top priority maintaining safety standards and a safe driving record.
• Coachable, willingness to learn, adapt, and meet Sunstate's standard of excellence.
• Detail oriented and capable of providing superior customer service.
