Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. in Jacksonville, FL is hiring immediately for local CDL driver positions. Unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card required; typical schedule Monday–Friday 7 AM–5 PM with overtime; pay is weekly.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a semi, preferably as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
• You are customer-oriented; you will instruct customers on safe operation and ensure satisfaction.
• You are a team-player with effective communication with coworkers and customers.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Safety oriented with a safe driving record.
• Coachable and willing to learn Sunstate's standards.
• Detail oriented with superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• You will instruct customers on the safe and proper operation of the equipment.
• Complete paperwork and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with coworkers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Operate locally as all driving positions are LOCAL.

Pay Dependent on Experience, typical range $28 - $34+ per hour;

PAID WEEKLY!

Typical Schedule : Monday - Friday with the occasional rotating on call schedule

Typical Shift: 7AM - 5PM (Overtime eligible)

Position Requirements
