Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a Semi Driver in Texas. The role involves operating a semi to haul heavy construction equipment, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional on-call shifts. Pay is dependent on experience and weekly pay is offered, along with a strong benefits package.

Candidates must have an unrestricted Class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and a DOT Medical Card, plus at least 2 years of semi driving experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Physically able to load, offload and secure equipment.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-truck hauling heavy construction equipment.
• Load/offload using chains and binders with safety in mind.
• Provide safe, clear instructions to customers on equipment use.
• Complete all required paperwork and site communications.
• Maintain professional, customer-focused service and satisfaction.

Typical Schedule : Monday – Friday with the occasional rotating on call schedule

Typical Shift: 7AM - 5PM (Overtime eligible)

Position Requirements

• You must have an unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a semi is required, as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Must possess physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders
• You are customer-oriented, you will instruct customers on the safe & proper operation of the equipment, complete paperwork, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• You are a team-player maintaining communication with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Are you bilingual in Spanish? That’s a plus!
• Safety oriented, you make safety a top priority maintaining safety standards and a safe driving record.
• Coachable, willingness to learn, adapt, and meet Sunstate's standard of excellence.
