Job summary

Stefanini Group in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an Electron Microscope Technician for the 2nd shift, onsite, to perform SEM imaging and sample preparation supporting R&D projects and QC workloads. This role requires hands‑on SEM experience and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Preferred qualifications include 2–5 years in electron microscopy (FIB a plus), a BS in STEM (or HS diploma with relevant experience), and solid troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in electron microscopy preferably in a QC/R&D environment
• Good problem-solving / troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Hands-on operate SEM (2+ years)
• FIB familiarity preferred
• BS in STEM with basic knowledge in semiconductor
• Familiarity with characterization techniques
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Must be able to work 2nd shift with some weekend commitment occasionally

Responsibilities

• Support R&D projects by on-time execution of SEM imaging and sample prep requests
• Work independently and/or in a team to maximize throughput
• Communicate and collaborate to maintain fast-paced throughput
• Hands-on SEM experience required; FIB familiarity and basic microscope troubleshooting desirable
