Job summary

The Stefanini Group is seeking an Electron Microscope Technician in Hillsboro, OR to support R&D through SEM imaging and sample preparation on a fast-paced team.

This contract role offers a 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), 42.5 hours/week, onsite at 8531 NE Cornell Rd. Pay range is $28.00–$32.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of electron microscopy experience (SEM), a STEM degree, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in electron microscopy, preferably QC/R&D.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience operating SEM; FIB is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute SEM imaging and sample prep for R&D projects on time.
• Work independently and communicate to maximize throughput.
• Collaborate to ensure fast-paced project progress.
• Hands-on SEM experience; familiarity with FIB a plus; basic troubleshooting.
