Job summary

Go Store It Self-Storage is seeking a reliable maintenance associate to keep our properties clean, safe, and fully functional. You’ll walk the property daily, identify issues, and perform simple repairs on locks, lights, doors, toilets, and painting as needed.

You’ll also assist with applicant intake, train new hires, adjust rates, manage unit turnover, and help customers on site. We offer full-time hours, a steady schedule, and benefits to support you and your family.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial contact to applicants following specific interview aid.
• Training new hires following training manually.
• Updating unit status.
• Adjusting rates.
• Handling customer escalations not related to employee complaints.
• Walk the property every day. Look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that is off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they're working.
• Help customers when they're on site and need a hand.
