Job summary

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and we are hiring now. Our Property Managers get to work independently at multiple locations, both inside and outside, and assess customer storage needs with upsell of packing and moving supplies.

Daily duties include inspections, cash handling, and deposits, plus helping customers stay current with payments. Role requires a valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties; mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.

Responsibilities

• Work independently at multiple locations; spend time both inside and outside.
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability and readiness to rent.
• Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits as part of daily business.
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
