Job Summary
The Property Manageris responsible forsupporting daily operations at a self-storage facility, including customer service, sales, property inspections, and payment processing. Therole requiresstrong communicationskills, basic maintenance ability, and independent work, with some travel within the district.
Whatyou’llbe doing
You willbe responsible foroverall operations and cleanliness of your assigned properties to include, but not limitedto;
- Handleday to dayoperationsofthe facility.
- Providean excellentcustomer service experience.
- Answer phone calls and emails ina timelyand professional manner.
- Conductdaily site checksand property inspections.
- Assistcustomers seeking storage units.
- Collect and process payments.
- Contact delinquent occupants.
- Perform daily and weekly reports, marketing, surveys, and inventory.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks including hasp changes, light bulb changes, routine cleaning, lock cuts, and safelyutilizepower tools when needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractors and vendors working on site.
- Travel within the districtis required tosupport other locations based on business needs.
- Location Open Monday - Saturday
- M-F 9:30am - 6:00pm
- Saturday 9:30am - 5:00pm
- Schedule is typically Tuesday - Saturday for this role, however, flexibility is required.
Qualifications
- Self-Storage, Management, Customer Service, Salesexperience preferred.
- Mustpossessa valid driver’s license.
- Light cleaning and maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of computers, smartphones, and Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work independently without onsite supervision.
- Experience and skills in peer-to-peer leadershipisa plus.
- Self-Storage experience is a significant plus.

Benefits and Compensation
- The pay range for this role is$19.50 to $21.50per hour – exact compensation is dependent on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.

Physical Requirements
To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, the employee must be able to:
- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Walkthe properties several times daily, up to 10 miles a day.
- Walk on uneven surfaces and climb severalflights of stairson a regular basis.
- Visually and audiblyobserveand detect signs of emergency.
- Sit, stand, reach, bend, and stoopfrequentlyand/or for extended periods of time.
- Use standard maintenance equipment.
- Speaking and expressing or exchanging ideasby means ofwritten and spoken words.
- Convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Physically use basic office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners.
