Job summary

Westmoreland Manor in Greensburg, PA is seeking a Self-Scheduling Registered Nurse to join our county-owned facility. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule with a minimum of 72 hours per month, including off-shifts (3p-11p) and weekends.

Prior RN experience in long-term care is required. Maintain a valid Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners license, and be able to perform heavy lifting while collaborating with the clinical team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

For over 150 years, we have been providing quality health care and physical rehabilitation services to the residents of Westmoreland County.

Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our team as Self-Scheduling Registered Nurses. As a Self-Scheduling RN, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and work a minimum of 72 hours per month, with a minimum of 24 hours being worked on off-shifts (3p.m. -11 p.m. and 11 p.m.-7a.m) and 24 hours being worked on weekends (7p Friday – 7am Monday) per month. Prior RN experience in long-term care is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain a valid registration with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners (License)

• Possess and maintain physical ability to do heavy lifting

• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes

• Adhere to attendance rules and guidelines, which are subject to change

Compensation:

• First Shift Rate: $42.42/hour

• 2nd, 3rd, & Weekend Shifts Rate: $47.47/hour

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalency

• Prior RN experience in long-term care required

• Must possess and maintain a valid registration with Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners (License)
