Job summary

BNBuilders is seeking a Self-Perform Project Manager to provide operational and financial support for self-perform drywall projects. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Drywall and General Contractor Project Teams throughout the project duration.

You will oversee project work plans, resource needs, cost control, and change orders while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This position requires strong leadership and field coordination in a dynamic construction

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the commercial drywall industry.
• Ability to coach and develop others; team mentality.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented; deadline/goal-driven.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple job sites and manage projects through all phases.
• Create and execute project work plans; revise as needed.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day operations and scope.
• Prepare and manage change orders.
• Ensure documents are current and stored properly.
• Develop cost-effective project schedules and resource use.
• Monitor progress and profitability; hold status meetings.
• Coordinate with internal teams and communicate bid changes and RFIs.
• Maintain budget, safety, and quality standards.
• Raise issues to keep workflow smooth.
• Review change orders and roadblocks with the team.
• Assist in field issue resolution; document solutions.
• Handle project accounting and monthly cost projections.
• Submit monthly self-perform billings and reconcile invoices.
• Negotiate safety, quality, and production improvements.
• Promote strong team morale.
