Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in business, public administration, risk management, law, or related field.
• Two years' experience adjusting and managing insurance claims for workers' compensation, vehicle liability, and/or general liability.
• Additional experience or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, negotiates, and settles workers' compensation, vehicle liability, and general liability claims.
• Reviews, analyzes, and processes claims; reviews related bills and reports to assess compensability.
• Documents and maintains detailed claim files; supports trial preparation and hearings as needed.
• Assists in evaluating risk exposure and compliance with procedures.
