Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Hotel Engineer to maintain all building systems and equipment, including HVAC, pumps, plumbing, lighting, and fixtures. You will perform thorough inspections, diagnose issues, and communicate with Supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and a proactive attitude toward guest comfort and safety. On-site maintenance at our United States properties is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a hotel engineer or equivalent maintenance background in a large property.
• Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment, systems and building components including HVAC, pumps, plumbing, lighting, and fixtures.
• Inspect machinery, listen for unusual sounds, and discuss repairs with supervisors.
• Dismantle defective parts, install repaired components, and ensure structural integrity.
• Attend training classes and meetings and assist in equipment setup and deployment.
