Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Special Education Teachers for self-contained K-5 classrooms in the Plano, TX area for the 2026-2027 school year. Role involves delivering core curriculum and SPED instruction, developing IEPs, and maintaining compliant records.

Positions are in multiple campuses; typical schedule is M-F 7:30am-4:30pm with compensation starting at $45+ per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Public schooling experience and Texas certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for the subject and level assigned preferred.
• Enrollment in alternative certification program preferred if not already certified.
• PreK, ESL and Special Education positions require certification.
• Teaching: 1 year experience; Special Education: 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in core curriculum and special education areas.
• Develop and implement innovative methods for instructing SPED students.
• Maintain suitable instructional environment and adapt materials as needed.
• Collaborate to develop IEPs and ensure compliance with laws and district practice.
• Maintain student records and progress reports for parents and staff.
• Communicate with parents and participate in conferences.
• Perform classroom management and enforce school rules.

Education

Bachelor's degree
