Job summary

Volto Consulting in Dallas, TX seeks a senior QA Architect to design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD). Banking and payments domain experience is required; strong problem-solving, documentation, and regression testing skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional hands-on experience in Selenium automation with Java development.
• Banking domain knowledge with payments processing experience preferred.
• Designing and developing automated testing systems and frameworks.
• Proven QA Architect or similar leadership role in software development.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes with API/UI/DB focus.
• Experience in performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and debugging skills.
• Working knowledge of agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Architect and implement scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Drive UI and API testing strategies across web platforms; lead CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

Conduct end-to-end API testing and backend integration validations using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and SoapUI.

Validate Kafka-based event-driven systems with real-time message verification techniques.

Perform ETL testing and data validation using advanced SQL queries on Oracle and SQL Server.

Lead test efforts for Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, including workflows, case management, and data validation.

Execute mobile automation testing using Appium and real devices/emulators in varying network conditions.

Mentor and lead QA teams, perform code reviews, and align testing goals with Agile sprint cycles.

Engage in defect triage, maintain traceability matrices, and report on automation ROI and quality metrics.
