McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Selector III in Danville, IL. The role involves reading labels, selecting items, and safely handling products across the warehouse using powered equipment where necessary.

You’ll contribute to a fast-paced distribution operation that serves restaurant, retail, and ecommerce customers. Successful candidates are at least 18, have a HS diploma or GED, and can read and understand English for safety and instruction.

Formación

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Proficient reading, writing and understanding of English to perform job tasks safely and effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity required for each order.
• Pull correct quantities of open-case items and place in tote to complete order.
• Pull correct quantities of full-case items and lift onto conveyor line, pallet, or cart.
• Transport selected full-case product using powered equipment if needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.

• Pay Rate: $23.25 per hour.
• The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday with a 7:00 am start time.

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Selector III:

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity required for each order.
• Pull correct quantities of open-case items and place in tote (use multiple totes if needed) to complete order.
• Pull correct quantities of full-case items and lift onto conveyor line, pallet, or cart.
• Transport selected full-case product, using powered equipment if needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
