Job summary

Merchants Distributors, Inc. (MDI) in Port St Lucie, FL is seeking a warehouse associate to assemble orders for shipment according to Import Mex’s standards. The role requires pallet jack certification, basic math, and the ability to lift 1–100 lbs.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Shifts run Monday–Friday 12 pm–9 pm or until completed with tasks including selecting and stacking product, sealing and labeling containers, and training compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble orders for shipment per standards.
• Select, organize, and stack product on pallets to prevent damage.
• Seal and tag containers, confirm orders and sign pick tickets.
• Operate pallet jack safely to organize product for shipment.
• Complete training documents and procedures related to SQF.
• Report damaged products to supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse minimum production rate.
• May perform other tasks as necessary.

Assemble orders for shipment to customers in accordance with Import Mex’s quality and performance standards.

Schedule

Monday- Friday 12 pm- 9 pm or until completed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select, organize, and stack product on a pallet in a manner that no damage occurs during loading and delivery
• Seal and tag containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm
• Operate a single or double pallet jack in a safe manner to organize product for shipment
• Responsible for completing and adhering to all training documents and procedures relating to SQF
• Responsible for cleaning damaged products as needed and reporting damage to supervisor
• Maintain warehouse minimum production rate.
• May be required to perform other tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass the pallet jack certification test
• Ability to read, write, and possess basic math skills
• Ability to reach, lift, and stack cases ranging in weight from 1 to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
