Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools seeks an experienced, scholar-centered School Counseling Manager to support the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of school counseling and SEL programming across the network. The Manager will maintain a strong school-based presence through site visits, observations, and coaching to counselors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in school counseling, education, psychology, social services, or a related field.
• Certification/licensure in school administration and/or school counseling.
• Three to five years of relevant professional experience.
• Significant administrative experience in K-12 education supporting scholars in underserved communities.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal requirements related to counseling services and mandated reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support the oversight and implementation of network-wide school counseling and SEL programming to ensure cohesion, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate coaching and professional learning for School Counselors and provide implementation support.
• Conduct weekly site visits to observe counseling services and provide timely feedback.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements related to counseling services and mandated reporting.
• Collaborate with Directors and school teams to align counseling services with network goals and scholar needs.
