Qualifications

• Valid Washington State teaching certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience or coursework in early childhood/primary education, social-emotional learning, and/or elementary mathematics instruction.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children individually and in small groups.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working within a PLC/team-based instructional model.
• Safety Care Deescalation Training (or willingness to train).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct SEL and math support to students in small groups and individually.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align SEL and math instruction with SIP goals.
• Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Participate in PLC meetings and share progress with families and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
