Job summary

Goodwill Legacy Group's Indianapolis Metropolitan High School is hiring a Social-Emotional Learning Assistant for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule in Indianapolis. The role supports students in grades 9–12, responds to staff radio calls, supervises students, and assists teachers with restorative practices and SEL goals while maintaining a trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level work not required; high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in high school support roles is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with students, families, and staff clearly.

Responsibilities

• Responds to staff radio calls for student assistance and supervision.
• Supports teachers with restorative practices and SEL instruction.
• Supervises students in classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Assists with traffic flow, arrivals, and student transitions as needed.
