Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) Lead for the Thunder team at the Costa Mesa HQ. You will drive new aircraft and mission-system development, including propulsion, avionics, batteries, mechanisms, structures, sensors and payloads, delivering designs within months, not years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/aerospace or systems engineering.
• 10+ years in Systems Engineering, integration and test.
• Experience with HIL/HITL/IRON BIRD for flight vehicles.
• Vehicle/system integration and test on Group 4/5 autonomous platforms.
• Experience writing test plans/procedures, risk assessments, TRRs.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Eligible for U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply Agile governance for rapid capability development with SDR support.
• Lead the use of Test as a design tool from bench tests to vehicle tests.
• Collaborate with customers to evolve CONOPS and life-cycle inputs.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop and real-time integration environments.
• Ensure safe integration environments and hazard mitigation.
• Use surrogate flight assets for subsystem development.
• Plan and execute test plans across integration environments.
• Lead TRRs and assess safety for testing.
• Support factory acceptance, ground and flight tests.
