Kelly is seeking a Computational Scientist to join the Subsurface Imaging team. You will develop and support proprietary seismic imaging applications on a high-performance computing platform, collaborating with researchers and client experts to translate research into production code.

The role emphasizes learning, cross-functional teamwork, and delivering efficient, scalable software that accelerates seismic processing projects while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Several years of C/C++ experience with scientific computing codes using parallel computing.
• Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and mentoring.
• Self-motivated and driven to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Work on a scrum team as a software developer to develop and support seismic imaging applications.
• Collaborate with researchers to enable their research and commercialize prototype code.
• Support internal partners that are globally distributed.
• Optimize applications to improve HPC system utilization and throughput of seismic processing.
• Collaborate with HPC systems and geoscientists on future hardware upgrades.
