Key Responsibilities
- Drive targeted application understanding, size market opportunities, and deploy communication strategies and collateral to increase thought leadership in Automotive IVI, ADAS and telematics subsystems.
- Ownership of applications working group and application specific environmental scan and Go‑To‑Market (GTM) strategies.
- Driving global strategic projects in support of key strategy execution.
- Collaborate multi‑functionally to drive the MRD process.
- Business development for emerging direct buy CSVs.
- Work closely with FAE, PLM, quality, and ecosystem teams to ensure strategy execution.
- Representation in PLM core team meetings for ensuring segment inputs/approvals in PLM decisions.
- Build business/technical outbound collateral that help our FAE’s and sales teams to outsell the competition – facilitate CTM engagements with key focus on developing application specific positioning.
- Collaborate with marcom teams for Micron’s Automotive marketing campaigns and other industry events to drive brand awareness and promote Micron leadership.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience in roles such as Business Development Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Technical Sales, Technical Marketing Engineer, Systems/Applications Engineer, Market Research Engineer, or related occupation.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the automotive market, including market dynamics, customers (OEMs, Tier 1s), business and technology trends in focus applications.
- Ability to develop sophisticated technical and business strategies on technical/business problems with limited direction.
- Proficient in data analysis to drive market models, assessment of business opportunities, and rationalization of revenue plans based on top‑down vs. bottom‑up analysis.
- Experience in a matrixed organization with ability to influence multiple levels of sales, field, and business unit marketing organization.
- Positive demeanor with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze marketing data and understand macro and micro industry trends and drive decisions based on this analysis.
- Ability to understand technical/architectural requirements and conduct first‑level application and system architecture dialogues with customers.
- Ability to develop effective presentations and collateral for both internal and external audiences.
Salary
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full‑time position is $113,000.00 - $246,000.00. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job‑related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
