Job summary

Caterpillar IAAS is seeking an Audit Director to lead internal audits across Caterpillar Inc. The role is based in Irving, TX or Peoria, IL, and requires guiding the audit plan, directing fieldwork, and ensuring timely remediation of issues in collaboration with segment teams.

This position offers relocation assistance and eligibility for stock or other equity grants under Caterpillar’s long‑term incentive plan; travel up to 20% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline plus significant progressively responsible job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as audit director for IAAS team
• Responsible for development of the segment internal audit plan targeting the highest risks
• Lead audit teams through each audit phase including pre-scoping, planning & scoping, fieldwork and wrap-up & reporting
• Partner with segment and division teams to ensure appropriate action plans are developed and issues are remediated
