Job summary

Caterpillar IAAS is seeking an Audit Director to lead internal risk-based audits for Caterpillar’s primary segments. This role will guide audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting, while partnering with segment and division teams to ensure remediation of issues.

The position is based at primary locations Irving, TX or Peoria, IL, with domestic relocation assistance available. Travel up to 20% may be required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline and significant progressive job-related experience
• Decision making knowledge and ability to analyze situations and make informed judgments
• Ability to present complex concepts clearly using effective tools and techniques
• Knowledge of risk management processes and how to apply them to diverse situations
• Knowledge of stakeholder management techniques and engagement planning

Responsibilities

• Serve as audit director for IAAS team
• Develop the segment internal audit plan targeting the highest risks
• Lead audit teams through audit phases including planning, fieldwork and reporting
• Partner with segment and division teams to ensure action plans are developed and issues remediated
