ATF seeks a Criminal Investigator (SEEK Program Manager) within the NCETR, National Canine Division. The role develops policy, manages a critical law enforcement program, and provides expert guidance on investigations and canine operations at national scope.

The position requires senior-level leadership, coordination with federal partners, and the ability to prepare briefings for Congress and agency leadership. Mobility and background checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
• Selective Service registration required for males born on/after Dec 31, 1959.
• One-year probationary period may be required.
• Current permanent ATF employee with competitive status or CTAP/RPL eligible.
• Pass drug screening and random drug tests.
• May require background investigation and time-in-grade compliance.

Responsabilités

• Advises top Bureau management on policy issues and technical matters within area of responsibility.
• Directs task forces or working groups on significant law enforcement issues of national significance.
• Provides technical assistance to Bureau managers on major investigations involving ATF jurisdiction.
• Leads Headquarters and field managers on implementation of new developments, trends, and technology affecting the program.
• Prepares and presents briefings/papers to Congress, Department and Bureau officials, and partner agencies.
