Job summary

Syngenta’s Emerging Talent Program is seeking a Seeds Communications Intern in Lisle, IL. You will gain hands-on experience in day-to-day operations, applying academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing professional skills.

Responsibilities include building communications initiatives, supporting digital marketing for North America, and assisting with content creation. Training is provided, with guidance from management to help you grow your career in agriculture.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing an advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Requires developed specialized skills, or a breadth of skills, through job-related training, on-the-job experience, and coursework.

Responsibilities

• Build communications initiatives and tactical content for the Global and North America Seeds business.
• Learn communications fundamentals and best practices.
• Learn technology to support communications execution.
• Training is provided in-house, and guidance is provided by management.
• Develop skills and experience to further your career.
• Assist in the execution of communications initiatives as assigned.
• Support the digital marketing effort for North America Communications, such as e-newsletters, social media, and event support.
• Assist with asset management, content audits, and content creation.
• Learn digital technologies to support the execution and measurement of communications plans.
• Develop and execute a social content calendar for Seeds leaders.
• Support summer events as needed.
• Develop basic knowledge of the Seeds business.
