Job summary

Sakata Seed America, INC. is hiring a Warehouse Lead: Milling (Estimated Clean Weight) to oversee seed preparation and related warehouse activities at the Woodland facility. You will manage quality checks, data entry, inventory, and ensure safe operation of equipment.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams to meet delivery deadlines. A HS diploma and forklift capability are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Seed industry or agricultural background desirable.
• Must be able to lift 55 pounds on a daily basis.
• Experience with seed treating, cleaning and packaging processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities related to preparing seed for delivery, including receiving, washing, drying, disinfection, ECW processes, cleaning, sizing, inventory, treating, packaging, and sampling.
• Maintain accurate inventory and perform data entry, analysis, and reporting (ECW reports).
• Ensure equipment is operated safely; coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventive upkeep.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; support other warehouse stations as needed.
• Participate in training on GSPP handling protocols and seed movement, storage, sampling.
