Job summary

Sakata Seed America, Inc. in Woodland, CA is seeking a Warehouse Technician: Packaging (Flower) to operate seed processing and packaging equipment in the Logistics Department. The role includes receiving, drying, ECW processes, cleaning, sizing, inventory, treating, packaging, and sampling activities.

You will maintain a clean work area and assist with equipment maintenance. Requires a HS diploma, ability to lift 55 pounds, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years warehouse or related experience preferred.
• Must read and understand written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently run and clean seed conditioning, enhancement and packaging equipment.
• Set up, operate, maintain and clean equipment for inspection, labeling and packaging.
• Ensure weights are accurate on packaging orders and report discrepancies.
• Meet or exceed target throughput while maintaining quality requirements.
• Handle delivery, receipt and stocking of seed; complete documentation and data entry.
• Perform daily cycle counts and report results to inventory staff.
