Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, seeks an experienced agricultural sales professional in Ekron, KY. You will develop new prospects, work with growers to increase sales of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizers, and manage credit and collections with customers.

Strong communication and industry knowledge are essential. Qualifications include 2+ years in agriculture, a high school diploma or equivalent (university degree preferred), and proficiency with MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in the agriculture industry and knowledge of agricultural chemicals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• CCA preferred, not required

Responsabilités

• Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase agricultural inputs sales and meet sales goals.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including on-time delivery and quality of product.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe actions to resolve issues.
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk and relay info to Credit Manager for credit limits.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivable from customers.

What You'll Do

• Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals. Manage sales to meet profit margin goals
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including, but not limited to on time and accurate delivery and quality of product
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues. Resolve issues associated with adverse product results
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk. Provide necessary information to Credit Manager in order to choose credit limits
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• University degree preferred, in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience and high school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years’ experience using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry, as well as the application of agricultural chemicals
• Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• CCA preferred, not required
• Sales experience in agriculture with seed, chemical and fertilizer REQUIRED
