Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist in the harvest, transport, storage, conditioning, and distribution of seed.
• Assist in evaluating production fields and rogueing for contaminants to meet quality standards.
• Assist in estimating needs, procurement and maintenance of stocks and materials for various operations.
• Perform the repair, maintenance or modification of machinery and equipment used daily.
• Maintain records such as vehicle mileage reports and seed inventory.
• Assist in training part-time employees in seed production and conditioning, including operation, maintenance, safety of equipment and materials.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
