Job summary

AgReliant Genetics in Iowa seeks a seed conditioning technician responsible for harvest-related tasks including bagging, conditioning equipment maintenance, field operations, and warehouse duties as needed. This role supports shipping and inventory accuracy and requires teamwork, reliability, and attention to safety standards.

Typical tasks include operating dryer and sheller under supervision, equipment upkeep, paperwork accuracy, and helping with movements of bulk seed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work experience in seed/agriculture industry preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred) and common PC-based software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of field and plant equipment.
• Assist in field operations and scouting.
• Operate dryer and sheller under supervision.
• Assist in Bulk Seed movement and management.
• Assist in seed conditioning, packaging and treating operations.
• Accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Warehousing and load building as necessary, including load checking for accuracy.
• Performs duties assigned to meet company quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain housekeeping of plant.
