Job summary

GDM Seeds, located in Decatur, Illinois, invites motivated students to join a 12-week Production Research Internship on-site at our Foundation Seed Production facility. You will engage in hands-on work across corn inbred line analysis, integrated pest management, seed inventory, stand counts, and more within a collaborative team.

You will receive mentorship, regular feedback, and cross-functional exposure to develop project management skills and leadership for a career in seed production.

Qualifications

• Prior internship or work experience highly desired.
• Must be willing to relocate if not in the local area.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs is not required; not applicable.
• Professional attitude and ability to work outdoors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience by collecting information and analyzing corn inbred lines and related production tasks.
