Qualifications

• Undergraduate Sophomore or Junior majoring in Agriculture, Business, or related field.
• Experience in agriculture, production, research, or farming is desirable.
• Proficiency with computers for data collection and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production of high-quality seed corn across field operations, bulk seed processing, warehousing, and distribution needs.
• Schedule and dispatch vehicles for seed returns.
• Set up and maintain packaging supplies and containers.
• Re-bag returned seed with labeling, tagging and palletizing.
• Organize and manage inventory of bulk and bagged seed using an electronic system.
• Collect seed samples for quality assurance.
• Maintain positive relations with growers, contractors, and inspectors.
• Conduct field inspections for quality checks.
