Job summary

Wyffels Hybrids invites undergrad sophomores or juniors to join our Agronomy Internship in Davenport, IA. The position supports our Product and Agronomy teams and involves plan/execute agronomic experiments, site demonstrations, and training events with guidance from a mentor.

Travel to Geneseo IL and Ames IA is required; housing assistance may be available. You’ll gain hands-on field experience, improve presentation and communication skills, and contribute to on-farm trials that help customers

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Sophomore or Junior majoring in Agronomy or related field.
• Experience in agriculture, sales, research, or farming is preferred.
• Note: internship involves outdoor work and variable weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement agronomic experiments and on-farm trials.
• Maintain product and agronomy demonstration sites in Geneseo, IL and Ames, IA.
• Assist with agronomy training events and customer service calls.
• Design a self-directed intern project to present at end of internship.
