Job summary

Bayer seeks an incumbent for Seed Technician responsibilities in Waco, TX to operate production equipment, monitor real-time data, and support continuous improvement across the plant. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic IT skills (Internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; MVR may be reviewed.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs; withstand shift work including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and use real-time data to optimize procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot equipment, processes, and systems as needed.
• Support continuous improvement (5S, Lean, Six Sigma) across plant areas.
• Use 5Whys and related methods to drive process improvements.
• Coach seasonal workers and trainees; support development.
• Ensure upstream activities meet company standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with growers and field operations; maintain partnerships.
