Job summary

Northwest Specialty is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused RN to join the IR / Special Procedures team in Post Falls, Idaho. This part-time Sedation Nurse role involves providing conscious sedation under physician or CRNA direction and assisting with pre-operative nerve blocks.

Requires a current Idaho RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 2 years of nursing experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. On-site position with standard nursing duties and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in Idaho is required.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
• Administer conscious sedation under physician/CRNA direction.
• Assess patients for appropriate intravascular devices and monitor during sedation.
• Assist CRNA providers with pre-operative nerve blocks.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional demeanor.
