Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, ID, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Post Surgical Inpatient Unit on a PRN, part-time basis.

The RN will assist with admissions and discharges, coordinate schedules, manage medications and supplies, and uphold high standards of patient care using the nursing process.

This position includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a supportive team with around-the-clock hospitalist and therapy support.

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in Idaho.
  • BSN strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification required within six months of employment.
  • Demonstrated English communication for safe patient care and documentation.
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate high-quality patient care using the nursing process.

Description

Northwest Specialty Post Surgical Inpatient Unit is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused RN to join the team!

This is a PRN position, Likely 1 variable shift per week!

**This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus**

In this role, you’ll provide and coordinate high-quality patient care using the nursing process, while supporting admissions and discharges, delegating assignments, coordinating schedules, and managing medications and supplies.

Our team benefits from a robust support structure including:

  • 24/7 Hospitalist support
  • 24/7 Respiratory Therapy support
  • Full-Time Physical Therapy support on day shift
  • Average 5:1 ratio based on patient acuity
  • Schedule published 4 weeks in advance

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho
  • BSN strongly preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS certification required within six months of employment
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Aware of professional nursing standards and performs in accordance with them
