Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL, is seeking a front desk/customer service professional to greet patients and visitors, route inquiries, and support privacy and screening procedures. The role requires strong communication and a courteous demeanor in a busy hospital environment.

The ideal candidate has at least a High School Diploma and prior customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Receives and greets patients, visitors, vendors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Communicates and directs patient concerns to appropriate managers/directors.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality in line with HIPAA requirements.
• Administers basic health screening questionnaires to patients, visitors or vendors prior to entry into facility.
• Monitors lobby and entrance workflow and visitor needs.
• Assists with end-of-shift procedures and cleaning of screening materials.
